Company Benefits

At Engineering Solutions we strive to constantly stay in step with the most current available tools and technologies.

Since the first release of AutoCAD in 1982, computers have become an essential tool for drafting and design in all fields of engineering.  Autodesk’s merger with Softdesk in 1997 made even more tools available to the AEC community, and provided integrated design solutions to automate and simplify previously complex and tedious tasks.  Today these tools have become an indispensable element of the civil designer’s arsenal.  Software developers continue to make technological strides, and with the recent release of Autodesk’s revolutionary Civil 3D in 2004, they show no signs of slowing. Engineering Solutions not only maintains current software releases through an ongoing subscription contract, but our staff is always seeking out new and innovative methods to tackle the challenges our projects present.

Of course, with the advancement of software, comes the need for congruous advancement in computing systems and employee education.  Engineering Solutions recognizes this need and the important role technology plays in maintaining both happy employees, and successful client relations.  In 2005, over $4,000 per employee was reinvested in technological resources, including employee training, computer software and equipment upgrades.  As part of its commitment to employee advancement, Engineering Solutions provides both regular in-house training, and Autodesk Certified training through our software provider, KETIV Technologies.  Full time regular employees of Engineering Solutions are also eligible for a yearly education benefit of $1,500, reimbursed upon successful completion of management approved training (See the “Company Benefits” section for more information).

In addition to instructor led training, Engineering Solutions has made available several self-paced online training options.  Employees may expand their AutoCAD knowledge through the Autodesk Subscription Center E-Learning Catalogue.  With Autodesk E-Learning, There are also several training options available through Administaff, covering a broad range of subjects from Microsoft Office Basics to Business and Office Management Skills.  For a full listing of available courses, please contact our Human Resources department, or as an employee you may login to the Administaff Employee Service Center and follow the link, “Take an Online Course”.
